Penelope is one week old today, and went on her first hike! We went up in the Ruby Mountains here close to our house with Grandma Cassens, who arrived to visit on Friday. The fall colors were almost as beautiful as our little girl, who slept the entire hike.
Beautiful fall colors! Can I be there? And go you! for hiking a week after giving birth! :-)

I remember after I had Tucker I was just amazed at the fact this little human was mine. Anyway, I haven't been able to comment on anybody's blogs so now that I can I have s hundred questions. How was labor and did everything go smoothly. . . Is Penelope a happy baby. . Etc I found Penelope her first doll, I know it.s early but I couldn't resist. Package should be arriving sometime this century, but the site I ordered from takes a long time. Anyway- I want to hear the details:-) <3 give Penelope a kiss from me
