So, apparently the cool thing now-a-days for suave stay-at-home mommies is the splash park. And our town is now awesome enough to have one. We met some friends am had a picnic lunch.
(Yes, we are entertained by a few water fountains shooting out of the ground. Yes, this is characterized as a fun day out before naps. No, we really don't have anything else to occupy our time. Yes, we love our summer days!)

ReplyDeleteOh I am jealous! We went to one of these in Vegas last summer and since, I have seen tons of these splash parks make their appearance in other people's facebook pictures. I am mostly resigned to living in an area too rural (and cold) to have one. I will never be that cool or suave. Sigh. But the kids did love it.
