Built in the mid 18th century, this is an incredible UNESCO cultural Chinese garden/palace. It is 3 square kilometers built around a large lake. Many beautiful paths, gardens, halls, artwork etc. It is located in the northwest corner of Beijing, about an hour subway ride from where I stayed in the Wangfujing area.
Those are some cool pictures. Thanks for sharing. The other post with the food...well, I like to look but probably would never try. With the exception of the american looking food. :)
