Penelope loves trains - so we went for a train ride. Penelope loved it, other than the loud train whistle, which she hated at first, but finally got used to.

OK, Grandma C, You asked for it.

Also notice how I am told "Don't Sing Mommy!!" As a side note, I was once told by another person in the household, who shall remain nameless, that I was never to sing around our children. I was tone-deaf and would 'ruin' them.

I guess I'll stick with recording videos and documenting our lives one blog at a time. Maybe Karate Kid will like my singing.

Also, I would like to personally thank the famous Jaxon R. for teaching Penelope about the volume level called LOUD.

As another side note, Penelope has a near meltdown every day over when we will see the cousins again. If she doesn't, right before bed she gets all weepy and says, "Daddy, when we see the cousins? We see the cousins soon." Sniffle sniffle.

Dance class

Pip did dance class this spring. Today was the last class. The highlight is definitely suckers at the end of each class.

Surprise visit from Jaxon!

Remember these two little buddies?

Grandma Cassens met us at the cabin this week and we had a nice visit from Walter & Linda. They surprised us by bringing Jaxon! So Penelope and Jaxon had lots of fun playing.

Jaxon doesn't do anything half-way. If he's going from A to B he is running. If he is talking it is at maximum volume. We have been imitating him ever since he left....whenever we want to answer someone yes or no we say "YUUUP!" or "NOPE" just like he does:)

We got six inches of snow perfect for a snowman - this guy was taller than Wayne.

Wayne made an awesome fort. P wasn't extremely impressed though, and all of the snow was gone the next day.
