Also notice how I am told "Don't Sing Mommy!!" As a side note, I was once told by another person in the household, who shall remain nameless, that I was never to sing around our children. I was tone-deaf and would 'ruin' them.

I guess I'll stick with recording videos and documenting our lives one blog at a time. Maybe Karate Kid will like my singing.

Also, I would like to personally thank the famous Jaxon R. for teaching Penelope about the volume level called LOUD.

As another side note, Penelope has a near meltdown every day over when we will see the cousins again. If she doesn't, right before bed she gets all weepy and says, "Daddy, when we see the cousins? We see the cousins soon." Sniffle sniffle.

Piano Recital

Penelope likes to play the piano, but MUST have the music there to play! Sometimes she will stop and turn the pages of her hymn book to play a different song. Sometime she 'plays' the music up on the music stand above her, and grunts and whines and points until someone turns the page for her. Then it is back to playing!

It seems like our baby turned into a little girl over the last week or so. I've been wanting to get a video up of her walking - here it is. She is also babbling lots, and says 'Dad' and 'cat' very clearly.

Penelope was eating lots of peaches. She was pretty happy before this... but she got a bit offended at our laughing by the end. 

If you didn't hear/understand, Reann says, "Hey Penelope, is it peachy over there in your high chair?"

Since learning to crawl, Penelope has been chasing our black cat, Ruby, around the house. Ruby will let her get pretty close, then run off. The orange cat, Orangie, seems to like Penelope. A lot. He nuzzles her whenever he gets the chance, even knocking her over once in a while. Penelope loves it. Here is a video of them playing:
