Summer!

Little soccer cuties after their last game

Playdate at the cabin with Ella, Andi, Rexi, Jaxon, Mikko, and Riley!

At a hotel - went for an overnight trip to Elko with Wayne when he went for work

Paddleboarding at the lake - Pippy is getting really good, and had her first crash into the cold water!

Butterfly Rescue

We found a butterfly at Jones Lake, about a mile from the cabin. Ella and Andi had come to visit that day. The butterfly seemed to have wet wings and couldn't fly. We put it in a jar and Ella took it with her. Apparently the little butterfly recuperated and is flapping its wings, ready to be set free again!
Andi is such a doll in these pics!!

Summer birthday parties

We went to two fun birthday parties in the past few weeks. Summer is actually here and we are enjoying it!!

Soapmaking

We did homemade soap with our friend Eric!

It was actually an interesting process. Eric is pretty passionate about his soap - He knows everything about it and let us pick what colors and scents we wanted.
Pippy chose pink mint heart soap and I did orange and black mace & orange scented soap. They smell great!!

Spring Picture Dump

Finally all - well most of the snow has melted and it feels like spring at the cabin!
Playing with Ella at the park
This cutie is my good friend Lisa. We decided to rock the 30-something double chin look.

At the zoo

Another day at the Aviary with Ella & Andi

Spinny thing at the Aviary

Pink Carhartt from Grampa Ken!

Some spring puddles

We went to visit Daddy at his office.
I think I was more excited than the kids. For 6 years in Elko, I never went out to the mine where Wayne worked. So I felt like a mom on the first day of kindergarten: "Look at you being so big and doing adult things! Look, your name is on the door!!"

Brynn thinks when I say, "Let's go for a bike ride," it means "Put on your Sunday best with mudboots!"

Out to eat with Grandma

I have become a soccer mom!!! Major bucket list accomplishment (har har).
And look who the coach is - Wayne! The girl in the middle is so cute - she thinks soccer is 50% treats after the game, and 50% making the right funny face at the other team. Her enthusiasm is pretty contagious.
Easter Egg hunt in the backyard

We saw a few moose once the snow melted

We've started fishing with the girls.
Brynn is pretty serious about it.

Pip finally caught her first fish!
Pippy had a pre- kindergarten day to visit the school.

Planting flowers with Grandma

Happy Spring!
